c.f.Christina Flood RRPr. – Certified Reflexologist

Christina has lived in New Hamburg and surrounding area her whole life, and has always loved the “small town” atmosphere. After years of enjoying being a stay at home Mom to her two boys, and helping run the family’s business, Christina took the advice of a “wise soul” and began to search for and follow her passions, which led her to volunteering in a local Hospice. After taking a Therapeutic Touch course there, she realized just how much alternative therapies can heal and have a positive effect on your wellbeing. Over the years Christina always felt drawn to Reflexology, and after experiencing a Reflexology session herself and feeling the benefits from the session she enrolled in the Reflexology course with Dorothy Bowman at Affinity Health Clinic, and has been enjoying giving sessions since becoming certified.

Our lives tend to be full of stressors, Reflexology helps bring the body back in to “Homeostasis” so we can become balanced and aid our body’s own natural healing response. Christina looks forward to  connecting “Soul to Sole” with her clients and helping you walk away more relaxed than when you arrived.

In reflexology theory, points and areas on the feet, hands, and ears correspond to specific organs, bones and body systems. Practitioners access these points on the feet and hands (bottom, sides, and top) and the ear (both inside as far as the finger can reach and outside) to affect organs and systems throughout the entire body.  Although reflexology is not used to diagnose or cure health disorders, millions of people around the world use it to complement other treatments when addressing conditions like anxiety, asthma, cancer treatment, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, headaches, kidney function, PMS, and sinusitis.
